There are two parts to this session: Sun Salutations and Sound Bath and Meditation, you are welcome to do both or only one if you desire.
Celebrate the radiant energy of the longest day of the year with a transformative Summer Solstice Yoga Practice designed by Living Fit Yoga to awaken your inner light and harmonize body, mind, and spirit.
4:00pm – 5:45pm: This sacred gathering will begin with a transformative practice of 108 Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar). This ancient tradition is a powerful way to align body, mind, and spirit with the energy of the sun and the turning of the seasons. We will begin with a short introduction, breathwork, and intention setting but this portion of our practice is self-led giving you the option of which sun salutations you would like to practice, and you DO NOT have to complete 108 to participate: Listen to your body, take breaks when needed, drink water, and find your rhythm. This is a personal journey in a supportive group setting.
Whether you're a seasoned yogi or new to the practice, this moving meditation will challenge you, inspire you, and help you release what no longer serves you—making space for growth and intention.
Why 108?
The number 108 is considered sacred in many traditions—symbolizing spiritual completion, the wholeness of existence, and the connection between the macrocosm (universe) and microcosm (self).
6:00pm-7:15pm: Breathwork, Mantra, Sound Bath and Meditation: we will begin with waterfall breathwork (pranayama)to soften the fires of sun salutations with the promotion of the water element. We will move gently with easeful asana to flow with the season. Then we will move on to mantra (ek ong Kar) to connect to our own inner vibe before dropping into stillness with a guided meditation and a nourishing sound bath featuring crystal and metal signing bowls, chimes, and other vibrational instruments to realign your energetic body and promote deep restoration.
✨ Open to all levels. Please bring a yoga mat, water, and anything to make you comfortable (bolster, blanket, eye pillow).
